Thousand Trails Rv - Kick out of Site on Last Night
We were kicked out of our site at 430pm in the rain on our last night. We were told the site we could have is a vacant annual site and the only stipulation was they would be showing it to potential buyers over the weekend.
We had no issues and settled in.
When the employee came out to the and told us we had to leave we were stunned; needless to say! At no time did anyone try to find us another site or accommodate my family at all.
Their expectation was to pack up in the rain, failing light and drive around the campgrounds to find another site!
This was completely unrealistic and unpractical. We do not plan on renewing our membership nor will we stay at another Thousand Trails Campground!

Still doing that. Some parks allow ANY site to be purchased as longer term stays, and ELS will sell the site right out from under you --despite your having a reservation and despite the fact that Trails Collection sites are ASSIGNED not chosen by member-- if someone wants to drop the cash and lease it.
1 hour to get out of the site. The fortunate members get offered a substitute site to move to, but that means packing, hitching, disconnecting to move a few dozen yards then start all over again setting up.
