We've been TTT members for many years. However we are older now and in poor health.

Sold our RV and no longer travel. How do we get out of our contract? I've called TTT and they say we're in it for life! We can try to sell to someone else....good luck with that.

The transfer fee is so huge that no one wants to pay it...even if we GIVE the membership away. Also, now the campgrounds are open to the public and "sell" the best campsites to year round permanent renters.

Isn't this a breach of the original contract? HELP....we want out!

Product or Service Mentioned: Thousand Trails Rv Membership.

Reason of review: Return, Exchange or Cancellation Policy.

Preferred solution: Released from contract.

I agree with others. We joined TT in the 70's at lake tawakoni.

Now it is a mess! Even have tiny houses in campsites with built in porches and sheds. We've gone once in the past several years just to check it out and am very disgusted.

Our dues are now over $ 650.00 a year. Since these are just dues, can we stop paying them?

I'm in the same situation, any updates as to what happened?

If I were you , I would send them a certified letter stating all of the facts related to your situation asking to be released. Do it in writing.

Phone calls mean nothing.

If the reply is still no , send a second letter informing them that you will no longer pay them and they will just have to take you to court if they want paid. Let them threaten you with legal action.

At most they might get a judgment but collecting on a judgment is a whole different story. They can’t touch your Social Security and at best they can ding your credit.
